Service Description

They say that 'Home is where the Heart is' but the heart is also a home, the home of our embryological origins, our connection to Stillness, and the liquid light we bring with us and that shines when we fall in love. The heart connects us to our inner world through our blood, and to the outer world through the vagus and autonomic nervous system . During the course of 2 days we will look at the holistic heart in terms of mind, body and spirit, and across dimensions of time from conception to adulthood and death. Through the study of the anatomy and physiology of the endothelium, metabolic syndrome, the vagus and social nervous system, we will explore how the heart works and some of the ways in which its vitality can be compromised. There will practical table sessions and guided experiential exercises to give a felt sense experience of what has been taught, and treatment principles and protocols that can be easily integrated into everyday practice.
