Advanced Chronic Headache & Migraine
1 Day | Online On Zoom | A Craniosacral Therapy Approach With Mary Bolingbroke And Nicci Parry
Service Description
Building on the foundations of last year’s Migraine Course, this advanced online workshop is designed specifically for Craniosacral Therapists and Cranial Osteopaths who wish to deepen their confidence in supporting clients with chronic headaches and migraines. The workshop explores the biological, physiological and emotional factors that may contribute to chronic headache and migraine, enabling practitioners to take a more detailed case history, recognise meaningful clinical patterns and understand how these may influence treatment. While the emphasis is not on treating the underlying causes directly, a broader understanding helps inform a more individualised craniosacral approach and highlights when referral may be appropriate. The primary focus is on developing clinical reasoning and treatment strategies. Through presentations, case discussions and learning, participants will refine their assessment skills, deepen their understanding of treatment planning, and expand their repertoire of therapeutic approaches to support the body’s innate capacity to regulate, reorganise and move towards health. Participants can then go on to integrate the material into their own clinical practice. This workshop is suitable for Craniosacral Therapists and Cranial Osteopaths who attended last year’s Migraine Course, as well as practitioners who are new to the programme and would like to develop greater confidence and skill in working with clients experiencing chronic headache and migraine.
